NANS Joins Physician Societies in Urging Reform of Medicaid and CHIP

​NANS joined many physician societies in sending a letter to the bipartisan congressional leadership in support of Medicaid and the Children’s Health Insurance Program. The joint letter emphasizes bipartisan reform, patient-centered care, and the importance of physician-led policy solutions.

​Together, we highlighted shared priorities, including program integrity, sustainable payment structures, improved oversight of managed care, and the need for long-term strategies that protect access for vulnerable populations.
 
The letter was sent to House and Senate leadership, and relevant committee staff. NANS members are encouraged to amplify this message in your communications on and off the hill.
