General Meeting Information

Neural Interfaces 2025 is a nonsmoking event.

Dress is business casual. As temperatures in meeting rooms may vary, we recommend you bring a light sweater or jacket to the sessions.

Mobile devices must be turned on vibrate during educational sessions. Individuals are not permitted to take photos or record (audio or video) in the educational session rooms.

Wi-Fi will be available in the meeting spaces. Please note that it is intended for checking emails and may not support tasks such as video streaming.

Crystal Gateway Marriott is the official hotel, located at 1700 Richmond Highway, Arlington, VA 22202.

There are multiple Marriott properties in the Crystal City area. To avoid any confusion, be sure to double-check the hotel name and address when using rideshare apps, GPS, or map directions.
​The Crystal Gateway Marriott is located just 2 miles from the ​Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA), with several transportation options available between the two. For more information on transportation and parking, visit the travel section of the Registration, Housing & Travel page.

There will be a military parade in Washington, D.C., on Saturday, June 14, which may affect your flight if you're departing from DCA or impact your estimated travel time if you're driving.

Abstract Presenting Authors

Presentation Formats

Selected abstracts will participate in a Paper Poster Session.
  • Paper Poster: Authors will have the opportunity to hang their printed posters in the designated poster area onsite and will be expected to speak to their research and answer attendee questions during one of the interactive poster receptions.
  • Poster Dimensions:​ The dimensions for printing the poster are 42" H x 60" W.

Meeting Registration & Travel

The Presenting Author of Paper Poster Presentations must register to attend Neural Interfaces 2025.

Presenting Authors for all accepted abstracts are responsible for all expenses associated with attending the Annual Meeting, including:
  • Meeting registration
  • Travel
  • Housing
  • Paper Poster printing fees (if applicable)

Speaker Ready Room Procedures
Mandatory Visit: All speakers are REQUIRED to visit the Speaker Ready Room before their session.

Arrival Time: You must report to the Speaker Ready Room at least one (1) day in advance of your session to submit your presentation.
  • If you are not in town the day prior, plan to arrive at least three (3) hours before your session.
    ​
​Presentation Upload: The final version of your presentation must be uploaded via USB (thumb drive) in the Speaker Ready Room as they will be sent to the session rooms. Presentation submission is vital to a successful meeting.
