Course Information

​Applications are now closed for NANS popular hands-on Pain Cadaver Lab. This one-day course will be held prior to the 2024 NANS Annual Meeting on Thursday, January 18, 2024, at the Viticus Center in Last Vegas, NV. Notifications will be sent to applicants in early October regarding whether they have been accepted to the course. 

This comprehensive course combines didactic lectures with hands-on experiential learning and provides a fundamental platform for the evidence-based and appropriate use of advanced pain and neuromodulation therapies.

​Topics include spinal cord stimulation, peripheral nerve stimulation, intrathecal drug delivery trials and implants, surgical skills; and more! Don't miss out on the opportunity to learn from and interact with leading experts in the field of pain medicine. 

*Please note that this course is non-CME.

*Attending this course as a fellow could qualify as the first step in pursuing the NANS Certificate in Spinal Cord Stimulation.

Who should apply?
Eligible applicants include:

• Fellows in the field of pain medicine
• Members of NANS in good standing (Visit NANS Membership for more information about NANS trainee membership)

How do I apply?
Applicants were able to complete an online application. Applications are now closed. 
Notifications will be sent out via email to applicants by early October. 

If accepted NANS will provide:

• $600 travel stipend to help offset the participant's travel and ground transportation (contingent upon completion of the one-day Pain Lab Course in Las Vegas)
• Two night's hotel stay (Wednesday, January 17 and Thursday, January 18, 2024) at the The Linq Hotel (room and tax)
• Transportation between the Viticus Center and The Linq Hotel

If accepted course participants must:

• Register for this Pre-Conference Course and pay the course registration fee of $275 (please note, that this course fee only applies to the 2024 NANS Neuromodulation for Advanced Implantable Therapies: A Hands-On Cadaver Lab for Pain Fellows. If you would like to attend the 2024 NANS Annual Meeting at Caesars Palace, then this will be a separate fee)​
• ​Become a member of NANS 
• Book their hotel rooms at The Linq Hotel (if you are accepted for the course then instructions will be provided on how to do this.)
• Attend the full one-day course (the travel stipend is contingent on full course attendance)
