Ellen Air, MD, PhD, is an accomplished professional in the field of neurosurgery, currently serving as the Chair of the Department of Neurosurgery and Co-Medical Director of the Neuroscience Service Line at Henry Ford Health. Her expertise encompasses neurosurgery, deep brain stimulation, movement disorders, epilepsy, and pain management. Dr. Air is known for her passion for improving patients' quality of life and became fascinated with neuromodulation during her residency when she witnessed tremors disappearing during deep brain stimulation surgery.
