Why I enjoy what I do
I love working with my hands, solving puzzles, and collaborating with colleagues. I get to do those things all while fulfilling my true passion for improving my patients’ quality of life.

How I became interested in neuromodulation
As a pain fellow, it was awesome to hear patients describe the improvement in their mood and activity level at their SCS “lead pull” appointments.

The best thing about NANS
NANS is a welcoming community made up of individuals who are just starting their training in medical school to those who are actively advancing our field through their groundbreaking research and patient care. It is a place where I have found mentorship and developed meaningful friendships. NANS is filled with opportunities to serve our pain community and our patient communities. As a member of the NANS Diversity and Outreach Committee, I participated in the Color of Pain Symposium, an initiative to promote awareness of pain management options in underserved areas.

My favorite movie
Kill Bill: Volume 1

Words to live by
Meliora – ever better (the motto of my alma mater University of Rochester)
