Volunteer Opportunities

If you're a NANS member with a desire to contribute to the growth of neuromodulation and the advancement of patient care, consider serving NANS through committee service or short-term volunteer activity. Explore the opportunities below​:

ELIGIBILITY​

  • Current NANS membership in Active, Early Career, Associate or Trainee category
  • Committee service: Willing to make an annual commitment, possible reappointment. 
  • Limited time? Consider short-term service openings. ​
  • Complete the Volunteer Application, Conflict of Interest Disclosure form and upload CV
  • Agree to NANS Volunteer Values: ​Mutual respect, Confidentiality, Accountability, Professionalism, Innovation, Duty to act in interest of organization
  • Deadline: February 27, 2025 at 5:00 PM CST

Here's how the process works:
  • Review the eligibility requirements
  • Complete a Volunteer Application and the NANS Conflict of Interest Disclosure form by February 27, 2025
  • Confirmation email sent to all applicants confirming their application has been accepted for review no later than March 31. 
  • Applications are reviewed by NANS Leadership
  • Volunteer Appointments expected to start between spring and summer. 
  • Assignments and terms will be announced no later than May 2025.
